AI detection settings
Counts run on your device using a trained pill-detection model. First use loads about 120 MB and may take a minute or longer. No photo uploads.
Lower includes more uncertain candidates; higher may miss pills. White-outlined dots have lower model scores and need closer review. Scores are not accuracy guarantees.
Touching pills, tools and reflections can cause mistakes. Tap a missed pill to add it, or remove an extra dot. Each AI pass is limited to 300 candidates.

Counting preferences
Faster repeat visits
The detector is saved on this device after your first successful count when storage is available. The first download is about 120 MB. Your browser may clear cached files when storage is low.
What works now
Automatic photo counting, photo capture and import, live camera preview, dot correction, saved counts and marked-photo export.
Still in development
Automatic photo counting is now available using a trained model, but accuracy still needs broader testing. Live counting, multi-frame counting and bottle-label scanning are not implemented. No guaranteed accuracy or speed is claimed.

Your photos
Photos are processed here on your device. Save stores a copy in this browser. Nothing is uploaded by PillSnap. After a successful online count, cached files can be reused offline when available. Keep an internet connection for first use. Each browser and website address has separate saved counts.
